You may not expect three pop-friendly artists to be on the same list as Julian Assange, Prince William and General David Petraeus, but Chris Colfer, Justin Bieber and Bruno Mars have done just that. The Glee star, the tween phenom and the hitmaker — all between the ages of 17 and 25, mind you — made Time’s 2011 list of The 100 Most Influential People. Jump below to watch Chris talk to the mag about his Golden Globe speech, bullying, and being happy as his true, awkward self.

“I’ve tried being other people,” Chris says, “But being myself suits myself the best.”

Last year, Elton John, Taylor Swift, Prince, Lady Gaga and Chris’ Glee co-star Lea Michele made the cut for the Time 100. Maybe the dance-tastic Heather Morris will make the 2012 list?
