BELIEBERS start screaming. Your icon Justin Bieber is Down Under and promising a surprise.
Word on the street is the teenage superstar could team up with buddy Chris Brown, who is also touring the country.
The 17-year-old singer has just completed his shows in Asia, where it is rumoured he spent time with girlfriend Selena Gomez, and now has big plans for Oz.
Speculation the North American stars might perform on stage together was rife yesterday after Bieber revealed on Twitter that he was gearing up for the next stop on his tour, with something special.
"AUSTRALIA ...we are coming... and there might be some surprises. LEGGO!!," Bieber tweeted. He then posted a YouTube link of his live on-stage duet with R'n'B superstar Brown, Next 2 You. But rumours that Bieber might perform at this Sunday's Logies appear unfounded, with a TV Week source saying they could not get the deal done in time.
It is understood Bieber will be in town for TV's night of nights on Sunday, before his Melbourne concert at Rod Laver Arena the following night.
Meanwhile his Gold Coast fans were yesterday camped out on "Bieber patrol" after rumours he was staying at the Palazzo Versace.
His Aussie tour kicks off in Brisbane tonight.
