Justin Bieber is to play a benefit concert to help kids win college places.
The 17-year-old pop star will perform an intimate show at the Mountain Winery venue in Saratoga, California on 11 June (11) to raise money for College Track, an after-school program which helps students apply for further education.
Tickets range in price from $250 (£156) to $1,500 (£937).
The move has already won Bieber praise from a number of celebrity fans - Hollywood actor Ashton Kutcher writes in a post on Twitter.com, "Hey Justin Bieber proud that you are playing a show for College Track. Good on you."
Rapper MC Hammer adds, "Thanks for supporting College Track... You donated your time, talent and heart."
